RetroTINK 2X-Pro a NEW video upscaler for 2020. But is it worth $130!?
This is the “Pro” version of the popular RetroTINK2X upscaler/line doubler for 2020. I review the new features, show you gameplay footage and try to decide if it is worth the upgrade. More info: http://www.retrotink.com
Retro Champ – Very DISAPPOINTED…
The Retro Champ tries to be the “Switch” for NES/Famicom cartridges, but sadly fails in many key areas. I wanna like it…but NOPE…
PROS
- good size, feels well built
- I like that there is a rechargeable battery
- turns on and boots up very quick
- Supports thousands of physical games
CONS
- Screen is not crisp at all. Looks like 240p footage instead of upscaled
- D-pad is a little shallow and mushy
- Has a death grip on your NES cartridge
- Famicom cartridges are very tough to get out because they’re flush with the system. You need to either use that special tool to push them out or another NES cartridge which is kind of weird and bad design
- colors washed out or overly saturated
- Aspect ratio cuts off the right side in 4 x 3
- Sound is off. Not emulated correctly

Blade Runner PC Game Review
Good news for Blade Runner fans like me, because in 1997 Westwood Studios released a PC point and click adventure game based on the classic 1980’s movie starring Harrison Ford. It’s a beautiful, faithful and original game that fans of the sci-fi classic movie should definitely check out!
NEO GEO Pocket Color Collecting
Reggie comes by to talk about one of his favorite handhelds: the NEO GEO Pocket Color. This competitor to the Gameboy Color didn’t make much of a splash, but it has a hardcore dedicated fan base today and some great games for it.
Do you own this little handheld? And what games do you recommend?
Vectrex Regeneration iOS Review (iPad)
The Vectrex home console was a bit of an anomaly back in the early 80s, with it’s vector based graphics, built in TV and analog joysticks. Now, that classic & rare console has been lovingly brought to the iOS platform along with many of the games. I review the iPad version along with the iCade and come away impressed!
