Full Throttle by LucasArts is a classic heavy metal adventure game designed by Tim Schafer, who also made Grim Fandango, Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. This game has biker gangs, babes and a bad attitude!
Battling robots, big explosions and sheer awesomeness is what you got when you played Earthsiege 1 & 2 back in 1995. Dynamix created these robot sims to compete with the popular Mechwarrior series, which actually they helped start back in 1989 for DOS! The series also includes such classics as Tribes, Starsiege, Battledrome, Cyberstorm and more.
Vampire Bloodlines is a bloody, sexy & deliciously adult role playing that was criminally overlooked when it was first released for the PC back in 2004. However, this cult classic lives on with updated fan patches and mods that make this excellent RPG even better.
Good news for Blade Runner fans like me, because in 1997 Westwood Studios released a PC point and click adventure game based on the classic 1980’s movie starring Harrison Ford. It’s a beautiful, faithful and original game that fans of the sci-fi classic movie should definitely check out!
Infocom crafted some of the best stories and characters in their 80s text adventures. I talk about two compilation sets that hold over 30+ games plus Leather Goddesses of Phobos.
