LET”S PLAY SSX 3! I am snowboarding the entire SSX 3 mountain with all 3 peaks in REAL-TIME and no cuts or loading screens with Viggo maxed out. This is my first Let’s Play of one of my favorite games of all time. Check it out!
Metal Jesus here, and today we’re gonna do something a little bit different, we’re gonna do a Let’s Play of one of my favorite games of all time, that is SSX 3 for the original Xbox. Now I think a lot of people are surprised that this is one of my all time favorite games, and in this video you’re gonna find out why because I’m gonna tell you all about it. We’re gonna play the game, but this game is kinda different in that it has a mode where literally you start at the top of the mountain, and you snowboard in real time through three different peaks. There’s no load screens, it’s pretty, pretty damn cool, we’re gonna do it right now, let’s take a look. Continue reading Snow Bunnies & DEVIL HORNS! – Let’s Play SSX 3→
Metal Jesus here, and I’m back again, this time with an update to my channel that I’m really excited about, and that is I’m going to be adding closed captioning or transcriptions to many of my bigger videos. I’m gonna start with the Friday videos. But this is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, because, well, in my family, I actually have an aunt who is deaf. And also I know some people who are in the gaming community, especially here in Seattle, who are deaf. And so it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, but bigger than that, actually, is that there are a lot of people who watch YouTube videos and my videos where perhaps English is not their first language. And so having the text transcribed down below accurately is a big bonus for them.

Metal Jesus: Metal Jesus here, and I am back with Kinsey.
Kinsey: Hello, and today we are going to be talking about a buyer’s guide for the original Xbox. So that’s accessories, hardware and some of our favorite games.
Metal Jesus: Let’s take a look. All right so let’s start with the hardware and again this is meant to be sort of a buying guide, in case you’re out at a garage sale, or a pawn shop and you just kind of want to know what to get into if you’ve never actually owned an original Xbox.
Kinsey: And this guy, is the original Xbox.
Metal Jesus: Yes.
Kinsey: It’s one of the first consoles that has an internal hard drive.
Metal Jesus: I believe it was a 10 GB drive, but you had like 8 GBs available to you, but actually it’s funny you just reminded me, is that I was watching a podcast where they were talking, it was the original creators of the Xbox, and one of the really interesting things is that it’s because they put a hard drive in here that games like Halo were even possible.
Some people like to label pc vs console gamers etc. with consoles becoming more and more “pc like” do you see this debate flaming out in a few more generations. Or do you see consoles going in a different direction. – Lucious Showcase
It’s been too long since I did a good ol’ fashioned Game Pickups videos! In addition to some great game finds and donations, it also includes some tasty record vinyl pickups too! And what about that Sony GLOVE?! Do people actually use that thing!? Maybe I’ll subject Drunken Master Paul to a contest of I HATE U with that thing..but what game should it be?
Do you feel the need or have thoughts of keeping backup game consoles and possibly CRT sets in case of a failure sometime in the future? – ReeseRiverson

Metal Jesus: I know!
John: Always happy to be in here!
Metal Jesus: And I have been waiting to do this video for so long, because we need on my channel, a NES hidden gems video.
John: I read the comments, in all your videos whether I’m in them or not.
Metal Jesus: Yes.
John: I mean, sometimes I’m here, sometimes I’m a shadowy character in the background, going back to the days of the immortal John Hancock.
Arcades were a big part of our childhood growing up. Which ones did you play or get good at, how much did you spend and do you have them in your collection today?
