Metal Jesus and Drunken Master Paul try to impress the girlfriend in the Ferrari while playing the amazing Outrun 2 on the original XBOX. It’s a really fun racing game that has a cool mini-game called Heart Attack mode.
OutRun 2 stays true to the race format laid down by the 1986 original, in which the player goes behind the steering wheel of a Ferrari sports car with a young lady in the passenger seat through 5 of 15 stages. As before, the player can choose their course and the soundtrack. (In cars that are either convertibles or open T-tops, the lady will put her hands up in various ways when the car crosses a checkpoint.)
In this episode The 8-Bit Guy takes a look at a Commodore 128 that he bought on craigslist in terrible shape. Then he completely restores it into like-new condition.
The Commodore 128 is the last 8-bit home computer that was commercially released by Commodore Business Machines. Introduced in January 1985 at the CES in Las Vegas, it appeared three years after its predecessor, the bestselling Commodore 64.

Leo’s back from Kotaku! Pixel art can often feel nostalgic, hearkening back to those bygone days of cathode ray tube monitors and floppy disks. It’s easy to think of modern pixel art as stuck in the past, a mere retro inspired throwback. But that’s giving the form a disservice.
Examples of modern games that have amazing pixel art:
Shovel Knight
Nidhogg
Fez
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP
Broforce
Owlboy
Stardew Valley
