Prey Review “Buy, Wait for Sale, Rent, Never Touch?”

YouTube Karak reviews Prey for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Arkane’s Prey is a re-imagining of the original 2006 Prey developed by Human Head Studios. While Prey 2, a sequel to the 2006 game, had been planned, it fell into development hell following transfer of the intellectual property from 3D Realms to Bethesda Softworks, and eventually canceled in 2014. Arkane’s version does not use any of the planned sequel’s assets, and only incorporates the name and the broad theme of the protagonist being hunted by aliens of the previous games. Arkane built Prey as a spiritual sequel to System Shock, providing the player with several potential means of progressing within the game.

LGR – Elder Scrolls: Morrowind – PC Game Review

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls III! It’s considered by many to be the best in the franchise, but how well does Morrowind (and its expansions Tribunal and Bloodmoon) hold up fifteen years later?

Watch more LGR video here!

Morrowind was designed with an open-ended free-form style of gameplay in mind, with less of an emphasis on the game’s main plot than its predecessors. This choice received mixed reviews by some members of the gaming press, though such feelings were tempered by reviewers’ appreciation of Morrowind’s expansive and detailed game world. Despite that, Morrowind received both critical and commercial success, winning various awards, including game of the year, as well as selling over four million sales worldwide by 2005.The game spawned two expansion packs, known as Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Both were eventually repackaged into a full set and titled Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition, which released in October 2003.
