Metal Jesus here and I’m back again with a video that’s gonna be all about Piko Interactive. Now they are a game publisher that is putting out brand new, high quality, retro games for like the Super Nintendo, the SEGA Mega Drive, Genesis, the original NES, the Game Boy Advance. As a matter of fact, they sent me an entire box of most of the games that they sell. So we’re gonna check these out. Now what’s cool about them is that they basically license homebrews and original games. They also licenses games that were unfinished, that never came to market. Or maybe there were games that just never made it to North American market and they’re re-releasing them in really high quality versions. So for instance they create the labels, the cartridges, they also create the manuals, the boxes, it’s pretty impressive stuff. Let’s take a look.

Splashdown: Rides Gone Wild is one of my favorite arcade racing games on the PS2 and today I play four of my favorite tracks from the crazy fun game! This game is unique in that each of the theme park inspired tracks change during each lap. Plus there is a robust trick system, crazy over-the-top characters and lots of unlockables. Metal Jesus here, and today we’re gonna do something a little bit different, we’re gonna do a Let’s Play of one of my favorite games of all time, that is SSX 3 for the original Xbox. Now I think a lot of people are surprised that this is one of my all time favorite games, and in this video you’re gonna find out why because I’m gonna tell you all about it. We’re gonna play the game, but this game is kinda different in that it has a mode where literally you start at the top of the mountain, and you snowboard in real time through three different peaks. There’s no load screens, it’s pretty, pretty damn cool, we’re gonna do it right now, let’s take a look.

Kinsey: Hello, and today we are going to be talking about a buyer’s guide for the original Xbox. So that’s accessories, hardware and some of our favorite games.

Metal Jesus: Let’s take a look. All right so let’s start with the hardware and again this is meant to be sort of a buying guide, in case you’re out at a garage sale, or a pawn shop and you just kind of want to know what to get into if you’ve never actually owned an original Xbox.

Kinsey: And this guy, is the original Xbox.

Metal Jesus: Yes.

Kinsey: It’s one of the first consoles that has an internal hard drive.

Metal Jesus: I believe it was a 10 GB drive, but you had like 8 GBs available to you, but actually it’s funny you just reminded me, is that I was watching a podcast where they were talking, it was the original creators of the Xbox, and one of the really interesting things is that it’s because they put a hard drive in here that games like Halo were even possible.

Kinsey: That’s crazy, yeah.
